Join us for 4 weeks of creative exploration in Tarot Embodied.
A mixed-media art course inspired by the symbolism, archetypes, and ritual of tarot, held in a relaxed, private studio bar.

All materials included. Beginner friendly!

Each week, you’ll ‘draw’ an image, just like selecting a tarot card, to inspire your artwork for the evening. To deepen intuition and shift perspective, all reference images will be turned upside down, encouraging you to respond to intuition rather than expectation.

Learn to paint and draw with a new medium each week: watercolour, charcoal, ink, and acrylic.

It’s a playful night out, and a deeply immersive art experience. You’ll leave with an expressive, cohesive collection of artworks.

Week 1: The Healer  (Watercolour) 04.03

The course begins with a gentle, soft workshop, focusing on healing.
We’ll paint medicinal plants such as echinacea, chamomile, and other botanical allies.

You’ll explore watercolour techniques including layering, washes, and controlled flow while creating unique studies of medicinal plants.

Week 2: The Elements (Charcoal) 11.03

It gets a little darker and bolder, this week we’ll explore charcoal as a grounding, expressive medium.

Explore light and shadow, contrast, and atmospheric mark-making to create elemental compositions full of depth and drama.

Week 3: The Lovers (Ink) 18.03

Inspired by devotion and connection, we’ll use ink to sketch and paint animals who mate for life, such as the coyote, the swan and other symbolic pairings.

You’ll experiment with ink washes and fine-line detailing to explore contrast, movement, and intimacy. This session focuses on line, balance and mirrored energy.

Week 4: The Empress (Acrylic) 25.03

Celebrate abundance, power, and feminine presence with bold acrylic paintings of women from around the world.

You’ll be guided on sketching a simplified portrait, creating a composition, colour theory and working with acrylic paint to create a bold design.
This final week brings together a powerful, statement artwork that embodies confidence and creativity.
